| Are you searching for a book or magazine
article Delta County Public Library District (DCPLD) does not own?
Our Interlibrary Loan service may be able to borrow the item from
another library for you.
Interlibrary loan service is free; however, if the book or magazine
article you need is located outside of Colorado, there is now a
$5.00 fee per out-of-state item ordered to cover labor and postage
costs.
There is a five-book limit for interlibrary loans.
For example, if you request seven books, we will order the first
five books. Once an interlibrary loan book is returned, we will
order the sixth book.
There are some items libraries will not lend under
any circumstances. Examples may be reference books, old, fragile,
or rare books, some genealogical materials, local history materials,
and AV materials. Though the libraries will not lend these materials,
they may do photocopying on a limited basis.
The interlibrary loan process may take a
few weeks.
We will call you when your requested item
is received.
